OSSC Gram Panchayat Development Officer (GPDO) Recruitment 2025 

The Gram Panchayat Development Officer (GPDO) post under OSSC Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CGLRE)-2025 is a prestigious Group-B position offering an excellent opportunity for graduates to serve in the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department of the Odisha Government. OSSC GPDO Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible for the OSSC Gram Panchayat Development Officer (GPDO) post, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in any discipline and basic computer knowledge. The age limit is 21 to 42 years, with relaxations for SC, ST, SEBC, women, and other reserved categories as per government norms

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. 
  • Must possess basic computer skills, including knowledge of Internet, Email, Word Processing, Data Analysis, and Presentation. 
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently. 
  • Must have passed Odia as a subject in HSC or equivalent examination.

OSSC GPDO Selection Process 2026 

The OSSC GPDO 2026 selection process consists of three stages: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and Certificate Verification. Candidates must first qualify for the Preliminary Exam, followed by the Main Written Exam. Finally, shortlisted candidates must undergo Document Verification to confirm their eligibility.

OSSC GPDO Exam Pattern 2026 

The Preliminary Exam is a qualifying stage conducted for 150 marks to shortlist candidates for the Mains Exam. 1. Preliminary Examination

OSSC Gram Panchayat Development Officer (GPDO) Salary 2025

Candidates selected as Gram Panchayat Development Officer (GPDO) through OSSC CGL 2025 will receive a salary in the Level 9 Pay Matrix as per OSRP Rules 2017. The pay scale ranges from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month, along with benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Allowance, and Job Security, provided by the Government of Odisha
